This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to select and use communication strategies appropriate to a defined job role.
BSBCOM406A Conduct work within a compliance framework
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to carry out work in accordance with the compliance framework applying to a particular job role, occupation or profession.
BSBLEG413A Identify and apply the legal framework
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to research legal systems and jurisdictions within Australia.
BSBLEG414A Establish and maintain a file in legal services
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to manage the conduct of a file under the instruction of a designated individual.
This includes establishing files, developing and obtaining appropriate documents, liaising with clients, and carrying out file closure procedures.
BSBLEG418A Produce complex legal documents
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to produce complex legal documents using a range of advanced functions within at least one software package and integrating functions from at least two software packages.
BSBLEG415A Apply the principles of contract law
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to enable a person to assess contractual issues in a legal environment.

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to enable a person to apply the principles of the law of torts in a legal environment.

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to work under supervision researching primary sources of legal information, locating relevant information and writing up a basic summary.
