RPL PROCESS EXPLAINED
Welcome to the College for Law and Justice Administration Recognition of Prior Learning. Your experience as a serving member of an Australian Police Service or Force may be extensive, or just commencing. You may be a current officer or have previous policing experience. Regardless, the roles and tasks performed everyday as an Australian Police officer can now be converted to Nationally Recognised Australian qualifications.
So, what do you need to do?
NOTE: The RPL process is not where you just buy a qualification. It is a formal and well know Government assessment process where recognition is provided for those who have the knowledge, skills, previous education and training that satisfies the criteria for each unit within one or more qualifications.
We have identified that Police Officers are well qualified candidates for a high level of recognition towards a range of relevant qualifications.

FEES:
IMPORTANT: there is no fee associated with the RPL process until such time as you advise that you wish to proceed with the award of the qualifications and complete the payment form. There is no fee associated with the assessment process.
So, why not give it a go, and see your experience turn to qualifications. You’ve earned it!
WHY RPL?
We spend our younger years in education and, for some, many of our early adult years continuing that education process. But some choose to embark upon career pathways that provide life experience that is unimaginable to many! What if you were a police officer most of your life but then chose to leave and join the private sector? What if you were an up and coming police officer and wanted to be competitive at interview for promotion?
How do you explain to others what this experience has given you? How do you explain that knowledge and learning comes in a variety of formats?
EASY! Convert that experience, learning and knowledge to qualifications that are recognised in all employment sectors.
The College for Law and Justice Administration has mapped the roles, functions and tasks of Australian Police Officers to the criteria of a number of modern and useful qualifications. Years of service and rank are significant in the issue of the different qualifications, but with many to choose from, there is something for every level.
The RPL process is recognised by Australian Government as a significant education opportunity for many working Australians. It is not a shortcut, it is recognition that work = experience = knowledge = eligibility for qualifications.
So why not participate in the RPL process and see how your experience can work for you?
